sevfive : spidey

I'm just thankful I wasn't driving on the Expressway at the time when the spider dropped on a web from my sun visor. I didn't do anything crazy, like swerving all over the road, but anything which appears in your line of sight & is all blurry because it's so close to your face is disconcerting at best.

I tried in vain to grab & crush as it was on it's way down, but I missed & it disappeared just behind the steering wheel. It wasn't some man-eating spider, but I just don't like spiders & it could well have been one of the white-tail spiders I've had recently. (Check the post on January 28 for details!)

Continuing on my way, with the threat of this rogue spider running across my knuckles, it eventually appeared, running along the lower part of the steering wheel. I grabbed a CD from the passenger seat & smeared the creepy crawly over the leather wheel.

Crisis averted!
