sevfive : no toto

Due to my sister being in the orchestra for Wicked, I managed to see the forth & final preview show before it was opened to the paying public.

I've seen countless musicals due to my sister's involvement over the years & this is her first professional show. I really do dislike amateur shows these days. It just annoys me that they have no budget for decent looking sets or time to find actors & dancers who have talent. When you get to see something like Wicked, it's nice to see something which has been put together properly.

For free seats, they ended up being the second row from the back & a loooong way from the stage, but it was an excellent show & actually has a few decent surprises. If you can get tickets in a decent spot, they would be well worth paying for.
